EMERGENCY AND DISASTER RESPONSE
When an emergency or a natural disaster destroys cities, homes and markets, or when hunger and disease threaten to spread, people caught in the middle are simply looking to survive. Helping them will is at the core of what PakAID is doing in under developing countries.
Pakistan is geographically and politically exposed to natural disasters and emergencies. Climate change alone has had brutal impacts on the economy and livelihood of the people. Reducing human suffering is our top priority as an NGO, PakAID is conscious of such realities and is always prepared to send out teams to affected areas for distribution of food packs, winterized kits, medicines, hygiene kits and other non-food items.
Humanitarian action not only saves lives, it prepares communities to respond to disasters, protects hard-won development gains, and helps people get back on their feet after an emergency. The emergency fund gives PakAid the opportunity to help the needy as soon as calamity strikes
