The Need for PakAID
Pakistan is a net receiver of aid currently, but that should not preclude it from being a player in the international humanitarian area. The people of Pakistan, and those with Subcontinent ethnicities, are amongst the most generous donors in the world when confronted with a humanitarian disaster or development need for rescuing, saving, and improving lives. Based upon the operational models of UKAID, USAID and other national agencies such as SIDA and Australia Aid, PakAID will operate in those area which are often neglected but where the humanitarian impact will be significant to include countries in the Far East, the Middle East, Africa and South America
PakAID is Pakistan’s Agency for International Development. Our activities are mainly focused on undertaking long-term sustainable development initiatives for the economic prosperity of Pakistan, and to promote a path to self-reliance and resilience. We will also provide development assistance to help underdeveloped countries on their own development journey to self-reliance – looking at ways to help lift lives, build communities, and establish self-sufficiency. PakAID will also galvanise its resources for humanitarian interventions worldwide.
PakAID is FROM the People of Pakistan, and also, FOR the People of Pakistan.
PakAID is aligned with the vision of Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, to ensure a future for Pakistan free from the impending water crisis where water security, food and livelihood security, and, education and healthcare are accessible to all. These are the foundations upon which a prosperous Pakistan may be built with optimism and realism.
FROM the People of Pakistan - The predominant task for PakAID is utilise INGOs, NGOs, the private sector and governmental agencies to intervene in Emergency & Disaster Response internationally.

· 100 Medical Camps and Clinics
· 100 Water Plants
· 1,000 Water Wells
· 10,000 Hand Pumps
